Schools Information Evening

2010-04-22

Pictavia will be holding an information evening for schools on Thursday 22nd April, from 7.30pm. This is open to any teaching staff who would like to attend, and will be an excellent opportunity to tour the centre and chat informally to Pictavia staff about our educational programmes. The evening will also be used to officially launch Pictavia’s new schools resource pack, an illustrated narrative – following the adventures of Pictish twins Taran and Triduana – which also contains a broad range of questions and activities. It has been developed with the assistance of Angus Council’s Education Department, who have indentified a broad range of teaching opportunities in relation to the Curriculum for Excellence – in particular, in the areas of history, technology, social studies, RME, maths and science.

Any teaching staff who would like to attend the information evening are more than welcome, and are asked to RSVP to confirm their attendance by Friday 16th April if possible. This can be done by contacting us directly.
